Quotes:
O'Neill: "Alright, Kids, we're due back. Unless you can tell me you've discovered something earth shattering I'm ready to bag this one."
Daniel: "We practically just got here. We have no idea what this planet has to offer."
O'Neill: "Trees and moss."

Not a quote but a cute scene: Daniel raises his hand in protest; O'Neill counters by raising his own hand. "Ah, ah."

Convict: "They find me they find you!"
Daniel: "Taldor is bad?"
Convict: "It's all around us now."
O'Neill: "Alright, alright, alright. We're surrounded by Taldor. Fine. Just relax, come with us. Alright. An eye out for Taldor, I guess."

Taldor: "You are prisoners."
O'Neill: "And...you are...?"
Daniel: "Justice...'Taldor' means justice....Just came to me."

O'Neill, upon seeing their prison: "Well, this sucks."

Linea: "For what little it's worth, welcome."
Daniel: "Oh, uh, excuse me, uh..."
O'Neill: "Daniel. I think that's about it for the welcome wagon."

O'Neill: "Teal'c, look scary and take point."

O'Neill, as they're cut off from Teal'c: "Uh...we're with him."

Daniel: "It's like we're in Botany Bay."
O'Neill: "What?"
Daniel: "Oh, the original name for Sydney Harbor. When the British first colonized Australia they turned it into a continental prison. It was half a world away. Of course, this is probably...more... than that..." He makes cute little hand motions trying to show just how big the prison is.
O'Neill: "It's ok, Daniel. It's ok."

Teal'c: "Perhaps the Taldor believe the Stargate only goes here."
Carter: "Wherever 'here' is."

Convict: "Here. A gift."
Daniel: "You killed him?!"
Convict: "Oh, no, no, no. Not me. Killed himself. Not me."
O'Neill: "Right."
Convict, taking a necklace off the dead man and offering it to Carter: "Here. For you."
Carter: "In exchange for...?"
Convict: "Like Linea, a gift. For the Protected One."
Carter declines.
Convict, turning next to Teal'c: "You are very strong, yes?"
Teal'c: "I am."
Convict: "Maybe you challenge Vishnor, maybe you win. Maybe...I be your friend?"
Teal'c: "Maybe not."

O'Neill: "Ok. Daniel, you and Teal'c keep looking around Botany Bay here. Carter and I are going to have a little chat with..."
Carter: "Linea."
O'Neill: "Right."

O'Neill: "Oh, Daniel. You've got to trust me on this." He takes off Daniel's glasses. "Signs of weakness are not a good thing in prison."

Linea: "There are two ways and two ways only to control a society. Through fear and through hope. In this world, fear is a constant. The belief in escape whether founded or not allows hope."
O'Neill: "So out of hope people are killing themselves?"
Linea: "If they believe it is escape, who am I to say it's not?"

Carter: "We need power."
Linea: "There are many forms of power, my dear. Some are more subtle than others."
O'Neill: "Well, for the moment we just need the electrical kind."
Linea: "Then we both have something the other wants."

Linea: "I've long believed that the best way to get knowledge is to give it."

Linea: "The liquid permeates the hard core of the tarrow root and allows for the organic material within to interact on a basic level."
O'Neill: "Basic, meaning...?"
Linea: "That which we cannot see but which all is made."
Carter, seeing O'Neill's still stumped: "Sub-atomic. Are we talking about organically based cold fusion?"
Linea: "I do not know your terminology."
Carter: "What you call basics, we call atoms. Groups of protons, neutrons, and electrons. These are the basic building blocks of all matter."
Linea: "My activators spirit these materials to combine within the cells of the tarrow root. When new material is made, new energy is released, flowing through the tendrils of the plant..."
Carter: "Colonel, that's cold fusion. Whatever organic mineral the roots are made of serves as a catalyst, causing the atoms of her chemical to fuse together. If we had this on Earth we'd practically eliminate pollution."
O'Neill: "Captain, back to basics. Will it power the Stargate?"
Carter: "It might."

Daniel, to Teal'c who's holding Vishnor against a wall by his neck: "Teal'c, I think he's had enough."
Teal'c: "If you once again try to physically harm myself or my companions, my patience with you will expire." He lets him go.
O'Neill, seeing Vishnor run away: "Well, Teal'c, making friends, are you?"
Teal'c: "We found nothing of use."
Daniel: "Although I am fairly certain that this structure is the ruins of some sort alien gate terminal, probably over 15,000 years old. Now that almost certainly predates human civilization." O'Neill shoots him his 'get to the point, already' look. "Which is not of any use, per se...."

Daniel, about Linea: "When she warned that man to stay away from Sam, I saw fear in his eyes, not respect."
O'Neill: "I'm just going to assume you've never been in prison before."
Daniel: "Oh, right, and you have?"
O'Neill: "Oh, yeah."

Hammond: "Well, here goes."
Major Kovachek: "Since this is your first time, Sir, a quick word of advice. It's better to exhale just prior to crossing the event horizon. One's instinct is to inhale immediately upon arriving on the other side. Also..."
Hammond: "I think I'll figure it out on the way." Lowers his voice. "You're sure they dialed the correct address?"
Kovachek: "Yes, Sir."
Hammond: "The things I do for these people."

O'Neill: "Oh, for crying out loud."

Daniel: "What happened?"
O'Neill: "Well, you actually won a fight, Danny Boy."
Daniel: "I don't particularly remember getting the upper hand."
Carter: "Neither do I but you must have."
Daniel: "P2A 509."
O'Neill: "Little brain damage along the way?"
Daniel: "No, uh, SG-3 was scheduled to go on a mission to P2A 509. General Hammond said so in our last planning briefing. We rendezvous with SG-3 and we use their remote transmitters to get home."
O'Neill: "And this just...came to you?"
Daniel: "No, this came to me while I was suffocating."
O'Neill: "Then P2A 509 it is."

O'Neill: "Linea, do they send food...and I'll use that term loosely, does it come through the gate on a regular basis?"

Daniel: "What are they waiting for?"
Teal'c: "They believe you killed Vishnor."
Linea: "You must distribute the food."
Daniel gives Linea some cement, er, excuse me, food. The convicts close in on him. "Whoa, whoa, hey, hey, hey, hey! They're first!" He does a darling little hand motion toward SG-1.
Teal'c walks by, doesn't take the cement. O'Neill: "Thank you." Cute little Daniel smile.
Daniel: "Ok." The convicts rush him. (Always remember to get out of the way first!)

Linea, upon seeing the Gate Room: "I've never seen such a place. It seems so...alien."
Teal'c: "So it was for me. Over time it has become...home."

O'Neill, debriefing their adventure: "Of course, that was about the time Daniel picked a fight with this strong...smelly guy. He actually won."

Linea: "Thank you for your kindness. All debts have now been paid."
