Synopsis: First thing we see (after the 2 1/2 minutes of recap from the previous episode) is Colonel Makepeace running through the SGC trying to find General Hammond. Turns out SG-3 has run into the Tok'ra, and the Tok'ra, who just so happen to have an operative inside Hathor's band of thugs, have handed over plans to the base that SG-1 is being held captive in. They comment at how similar the plans are to that of the SGC. General Hammond now knows that SG-1 is being held captive by Hathor. He debates risking additional people's lives just to save SG-1's with Major Davis who represents the President. He asks anyone who wishes to help SG-1 to step forward, and before he's even finished asking it, teams 3, 5, 7, and 11 step forward to attempt a rescue of SG-1. Colonel Makepeace is in charge.
As for O'Neill, Carter, and Daniel, they are still speaking with Hathor as she's presenting them with her option yet again--who gets the Goa'uld? First she holds it to Daniel, her "Beloved," and tells him they could be together for eternity if he would be the one to receive it. Next she shoves it in Carter's face, and Carter tells her she's not afraid to be host. Hathor says she should be afraid since the Goa'uld can inflict a lot of pain on the host. Finally she shows it to O'Neill, and the snapping Goa'uld seems pleased with this choice. O'Neill unhappily agrees to it and tells her to make sure it enters through the front, not through the back of his neck. The host has been picked. As she's about to give it to him, however, Dr. Raleigh shoots both O'Neill and the Goa'uld with the zat gun, her reasoning of which I'm not exactly sure. Hathor's a little ticked, but Raleigh just tells her that they couldn't take the chance of harming the Goa'uld. Anyway, O'Neill is downed from the zat gun and the snapping Goa'uld takes off across the floor.
Teal'c, meanwhile, has returned to Chu'lac and is saddened to find the home of his teacher, Master Bra'tac, in disarray. He finds Bra'tac lying helpless underneath a fallen column and aids him in his escape. Bra'tac reports that after news of Apophis' defeat reached the ears of the Jaffa in Chu'lac, they became afraid that Klorell would return to gain take his father's place as the local Goa'uld. Because of this, they attacked Bra'tac.
O'Neill, however, is not faring so well. He returns somewhat to normal and Hathor's ready and eager to give him Snappy. She tells him that it'll take a bit for the Goa'uld to fully blend with his mind, but once it does, he will kill his friends (i.e. Carter and Daniel) and be forced to watch it without being able to stop his own actions. Finally the Goa'uld is handed over to her, and it enters O'Neill through the back of his neck. Ouch. Hathor sends Carter and Daniel away and gives the task of making sure everything's okay with O'Neill and his blending to Dr. Raleigh. Once Hathor has left, however, Dr. Raleigh sends him into cryogenic sleep. Turns out she's the Tok'ra operative and cryogenically freezing O'Neill will kill the Goa'uld inside him permanently. She tells him to fight the blending as much as he can, then sends him off to a very chilly dreamland. Hathor, unfortunately, returns in time to see this happen and blasts Raleigh with a hand device.
Makepeace, meanwhile, has reached Hathor's complex and is fighting his way in through those corridors we saw way too much in during "Out of Mind." Quite a few Goa'uld are downed, and in the end he manages to free Daniel and Carter. While they are changing into fatigues, Makepeace contacts the surface, only to find that his team guarding the gate has been taken out. Makepeace orders them to move out, Daniel asks what about Jack, and Makepeace, unfortunately, marks him as a casualty. Carter wants to go back for O'Neill so they can take him back and hopefully free him of the Goa'uld, but Makepeace wins the argument. If they don't make it back to the Stargate, they wouldn't be able to save O'Neill anyway.
Teal'c, meanwhile, is upset by Bra'tac's news and takes off through the town to find out what happened to him. He's confronted by a woman who calls him a sholva (traitor) and tells him the same story Bra'tac had told him, about how the Jaffa fear Klorel's return. Teal'c orders her to go to every Jaffa in the city and tell them to meet him at Bra'tac's house at dawn the next morning where he will address them.
Anyway, Daniel and Carter follow Makepeace up to the surface, where they find the Stargate deserted. They rush at it, but are stopped by a huge, wall-like force field. Goa'uld transportation rings pop up in front of the gate and the Goa'uld under the command of ex-Major General Trofsky take control of it. The SG teams fall back as the Goa'uld attack. Four tower-like Goa'uld weapons suddenly pop up out of the sand and start firing at them, and Daniel is hit, injuring his leg. The SG teams fall into a Tok'ra tunnel and escape, at least temporarily. They hope to make it to the Stargate from underneath the force field, but the force field extends underneath the ground, into the tunnels.
Back at the SGC, Hammond has contacted Colonel Makepeace through a remote device, the sound having been amplified by the force field so they could hear it under ground. He assures the SG teams that he will send reinforcements in six hours to help them free the Stargate, but when the Goa'uld guarding the Stargate shoot the MALP probe, the connection is lost. Unfortunately, he is told by Major Davis that the President refuses to send any more troops to rescue the SG teams trapped on the planet. Hammond's simply going to have to find another way to help them out. Makepeace and Carter discuss the situation, and in the end Carter decides to go back to Hathor's base alone and try to find the power generator that she's sure is powering the force field and shut it off.
Who haven't we seen for awhile? That's right, Teal'c. The Jaffa gather in Bra'tac's house as Teal'c requested and listen as Teal'c scolds them for being cowards. He tells them the Goa'uld are not gods; rather, they are dependent upon the Jaffa for life and they will be until the Jaffa refuse to be their slaves any longer. He thought that when Apophis died shaking in fear at what was yet to come that they would see it the same way. He then asks all the Jaffa to join him in rebelling against the Goa'uld, but unfortunately all of them leave except for a handful of five or six. One of them, however, turns out to be General Hammond, who tells Teal'c and Bra'tac what has happened and asks them for help.
Back on Hathor's planet, Carter has returned to the base and finds Dr. Raleigh a.k.a. the Tok'ra operative, who is lying barely conscious on the floor. Dr. Raleigh tells Carter who she is and that Carter should operate the cryogenics machine to release O'Neill since the Goa'uld will be dead. Carter does as the Tok'ra says and frees O'Neill, only Hathor sneaks up on her and starts zapping her with her hand device. O'Neill makes a very quick recovery and attacks Hathor, tossing her over into the cryogenics chamber and thereby effectively killing her. He and Carter share a long hug, she asks him if he's alright, and he says yes, he's just very, very cold. They take off into the base to find the power source.
Unfortunately, Makepeace, Daniel, and the other SG teams haven't been as lucky. They are captured by the Goa'uld down in the Tok'ra tunnels.
Teal'c, Bra'tac, and Hammond make their way through a forest where Bra'tac finds a glider he once used over a hundred years ago. He is passing the duty of flying it over to Teal'c.
Thanks to the Tok'ra operative's information, Carter and O'Neill are able to find the power source hidden in the mock-Gate room. They set remote controlled explosives and head up to the surface, where they find Trofsky and the Goa'uld holding guns at Daniel and the other SG teams. Trofsky threatens to kill Daniel and the others unless Carter shows herself. O'Neill realizes they think he's a Goa'uld now and steps forward to buy Carter some time until the reinforcements Hammond promised before showed up. He orders the Jaffa around a bit, but when he doesn't know enough of their language they catch on that he isn't really a Goa'uld. The timing works out perfectly, however, since at that moment the Gate dials up and Carter detonates the explosives, removing the force field. The glider Teal'c and Hammond are flying in comes through the Gate, Bra'tac and the few Jaffa rebels follow soon after, chaos ensues in a neat fight scene. In the end, the Goa'uld lose, Hathor is dead, O'Neill doesn't keep the Goa'uld, SG-1 is reunited, and everyone is happy. :)

Related Episodes: "Out of Mind," for the obvious reasons since this is the conclusion to that one. Apophis' death in "Serpent's Song" is referred to again, the tunnels from "Tok'ra Part 1" and "Tok'ra Part 2" pop up here, Carter uses that Goa'uld detection ability that she gained from "In the Line of Duty," Hathor is from "Hathor," and Bra'tac still insists on calling General Hammond "Hammond of Texas" and motioning to his bald head just as he did in "The Serpent's Lair" and "Family." :)

Quotes:
Davis: "Can we trust them? The Tok'ra?"
Makepeace: "Their operatives on the inside took a big risk just to get us this information. Sir, I think so."
Davis: "If there's someone on the inside, why can't they do something?"
Hammond: "They did do something, Major."Hammond: "I want every available SG team ready to deploy in the Gate room in two hours."
Makepeace: "Yes, Sir."
Davis: "Sir, you intend to commit the resources of this entire command?"
Hammond: "I only wish we could. Nearly half of our teams are off-world right now on other missions."
Davis: "General, that's not my point. SG-1 is a valuable asset, but they're still just one team."
Hammond: "Major, you've got a lot to learn about how we do things around here."Hammond, to the SG teams in the Gate room: "You've all been briefed on the mission by Colonel Makepeace. You know the enemy, you know the risks. What I am trying to say is, I'd rather not order you to do this. So I would like all of those willing to attempt the rescue of SG-1 to take one step..." Everyone in the room takes one step forward, and it's obvious Hammond is very relieved at this action. "Very well. SG units 3, 5, 7, and 11, bring them home."
Hathor: "We ask you once more. Which one of you shall be host to our new friend?"
O'Neill, to Carter about Snappy the Goa'uld: "He has her eyes."
Hathor: "Silence!" She walks up to Daniel and waves the Goa'uld in his face. "Shall it be our beloved? We could spend an eternity together. Do you not remember? The joys that we will share in one another's arms?"
Daniel: "I really try not to."
Hathor, moving Snappy over to wave in Carter's face: "Shall it be the female, then? She who would challenge us? You have since been possessed by a Goa'uld. Perhaps once again."
Carter: "I'm not afraid."
Hathor: "You should be, my dear, for the pain that a symbiote can inflict on a host is unimaginable." She removes Snappy from Carter's face and holds him in front of O'Neill. Snappy becomes animated at this new option. "It seems our friend has chosen."
O'Neill, to the Goa'uld about his hair: "What, the gray doesn't bother you? Alright, fine. Let's do it. Just please, I beg of you, not in the back of the neck. I've got problems there...." He tries to grab the Goa'uld and kill it, and Dr. Raleigh shoots him and the Goa'uld with the zat gun.
Hathor, to Raleigh: "Fool!"
Raleigh: "He would have hurt the symbiote."
Hathor: "Which you have done in his place! Return it to the safety of the Jaffa. Take him somewhere he can be properly restrained."Teal'c, finding Bra'tac beat up under a fallen column: "Who has done this?"
Bra'tac: "The last of Apophis' personal guards. They left me for dead."
Teal'c: "For what reason?"
Bra'tac: "When I heard the news of Apophis, my heart soared. I hoped there would be celebration amongst our people. Instead, they feared that with the death of Apophis, Klorel would return to claim his inheritance."
Teal'c: "They are cowards."
Bra'tac: "In too great a number for an old man of 135. What of your human friends?"
Teal'c: "Prisoners of a Goa'uld. I have come to raise an army with which to free them."
Bra'tac: "That will not be so easy, Teal'c."
Teal'c: "Perhaps, but I must try."Hathor: "We are not pleased."
O'Neill: "Neither are we." Hathor takes out the metal thing from his skull, he grimaces in pain.
Hathor: "Once host to the Goa'uld, you will take the lives of your friends."
O'Neill: "We don't think so."
Hathor: "You will have no say in that. You will witness their deaths through your own eyes. Helplessly. It may take some time for the Goa'uld to take control but we will greatly enjoy experiencing your eventual defeat."
O'Neill, as Hathor opens up his shirt and lays the Goa'uld on him near his neck: "Oh, God, no." The Goa'uld enters him, he screams in pain.
Hathor: "And when you awaken from the joining, you will kneel and pledge your loyalty to us."Raleigh: "O'Neill, you must fight it. I am Tok'ra. The cryogenic process will prevent the melding. The Goa'uld within will die but until then you must fight it!"
Makepeace, taking his first look at Hathor's SGC replica: "Yeah, there's no place like home."
Hathor, to Raleigh: "Jaffa, kree!"
Raleigh: "Kell na shrie Jaffa. I am of the Tok'ra. If the Tauri do not destroy you, you know this: We will."Makepeace: "Lieutenant, pass the word, we're moving out."
Daniel: "Wait, what about Jack?"
Makepeace: "He's a casualty."
Carter: "Sir, if we can get him back to Earth...."
Makepeace: "If my team has lost control of the Stargate, we're not going anywhere."Jaffa woman: "I know you, sholva. You dare return to Chu'lak?"
Teal'c: "The people of this world are my brothers and sisters. I have betrayed no one."
Jaffa woman: "Except your god!"
Teal'c: "False god. Dead false god."
Jaffa woman: "So you say, but his son lives."
Teal'c: "With you or without, he will be defeated, as was his father. Our people will taste freedom."
Jaffa woman: "Bra'tac paid a heavy price for those words." Two other Jaffa attack Teal'c, but he beats both of them and knocks them out.
Teal'c, now mad: "You may tell your kinsmen that Teal'c has returned to Chu'lak. You will go to every home of every warrior in this city. You will tell them that I will speak in the house of Bra'tac at dawn. Summon them!"Makepeace: "How's the leg? Can you walk?"
Daniel, very sarcastically: "Oh, it's just a deep, bleeding gash but it'll be fine."Hammond: "One armored platoon should be able to take the Stargate."
Davis: "General, Sir, I'm sorry, it's not up to me. Even if it was I don't agree with it."
Hammond: "I don't really give a damn if you agree with me, Major."
Davis: "With all due respect, Sir, you took a shot based on intelligence you believed to be trustworthy but it obviously...."
Hammond: "I promised reinforcements."
Davis: "The President and joint chiefs are simply unwilling to risk further loss of life, Sir. Those are their orders. I'm sorry. I'm afraid if your people are going to make it back, they're going to have to do it on their own."
Hammond: "I see. Thank you, Major."
Davis: "Thank you, Sir."Bra'tac: "Teal'c has returned from the Tauri. If you care for this world and for our people, you will listen to what he has to say."
Teal'c: "The Goa'uld are not gods."
Jaffa woman: "Sholva!"
Teal'c: "It is a lie we live each day. Only when he takes a host does a Goa'uld become strong. Even then, only as strong as the Jaffa who serve him. Without us the Goa'uld are nothing."
Jaffa woman: "Lies."
Teal'c: "We are their strength, we are their power, until we choose to serve them no more. I was witness to the final breath of Apophis. I watched him tremble with fear at what lay beyond. I believed that day would be honored for all time on Chu'lak. But instead I see Jaffa taking up arms against one another. I see cowardice, and I am ashamed. This is our time. It will not come again. But first we must grow stronger as the people of the Tauri have done. I call for warriors to join me through the Chaapa'ai to gather weapons, to forge alliance with other Jaffa who seek freedom, to show the Goa'uld we will do battle with them wherever they might be. Who will join me?"Teal'c: "General."
Hammond: "Not what I'd call an army, but it's a start."
Bra'tac, motioning at his head to indicate Hammond' baldness <g>: "Hammond of Texas."
Hammond: "Master Bra'tac. Gentlemen, I need your help."Raleigh: "Forgive me. There was no other way."
Carter: "You're the Tok'ra."
Raleigh: "Those controls are set. Activate them. The Goa'uld within is gone. The cryogenic process destroyed it before it had the chance to meld with the host. He will revive automatically."Hathor, to Carter before zapping her with her hand weapon: "We had hopes for you." O'Neill attacks her from behind. "We will destroy you for this!"
O'Neill: "And we would just like you to go away!" He throws her into the cryogenics compartment.O'Neill: "Carter!"
Carter: "Sir."
O'Neill: "Oh, god." He hugs her. "Hathor's...gone."
Carter: "What about you?"
O'Neill: "Cold. I'm a little chilly. But I'm me. I'm me."Hammond: "What exactly are we looking for? We don't have much time."
Teal'c: "As you said, the Gate is carefully guarded."
Bra'tac: "The Stargate is most defensible. To be assured of victory, we will require an advantage, one hidden away, forgotten, when I was still first prime of Apophis."
Hammond: "Why?"
Bra'tac: "No pilot could master it."
Hammond: "And how long ago was it?"
Bra'tac: "Some hundred years. The forest has changed much in that time."
Teal'c: "There is an old Jaffa saying, General Hammond. They do not build them as they once did."
Bra'tac, finding what he's looking for: "Here!"
Hammond: "You intend to fly this thing?"
Bra'tac: "Not I. Threading the needle is a skill for the young." He and Teal'c chuckle.O'Neill, seeing all the Goa'uld guarding the Stargate and pointing guns at Daniel and Makepeace: "This part of your plan, Captain?"
Carter: "No, Sir."
Trofsky: "I know you're up there, Captain Carter. I grow tired of this. Surrender now or your friends will be killed one by one."
Daniel: "Don't listen to him, Sam!"
Trofsky: "Silence! I will give you one minute."O'Neill: "He thinks I'm a Goa'uld, right?"
Carter: "Right."
O'Neill: "Alright, blow that C-4 the minute the cavalry comes through the Gate."
Carter: "What if they don't?"
O'Neill, incredulously: "What if they don't?!"
Carter, catching herself: "They will, they will."O'Neill: "Jaffa, kree!"
Trofsky: "Kel ma Goa'uld? Kritock."
O'Neill: "You heard me, I said kree!"
Daniel: "Jack?"
O'Neill: "Hey, guys. Makepeace, nice rescue. Good job."
Trofsky: "Silence!"
O'Neill: "Alright, listen up. There's something you should know before you start shootin' and killin' and ruinin' what could be the start of a beautiful friendship. Our beloved Hathor is dead."
Trofsky: "What you say is impossible. Hathor is a queen. More than that, she is a goddess!"
O'Neill: "Yeah, okay, ex-goddess, maybe. I killed her myself. You should trust me on this. She's gone. She is no more, she is...well, let's face it, she's a former queen. So why don't we just put an end to this right now."
Trofsky: "We will put an end to this with your surrender."Teal'c: "Firing the weapon will be your responsibility, General Hammond."
Hammond: "Understood."Hammond: "What exactly did he mean by threading the needle?"
Teal'c: "Observe."Hammond: "YEEE-HAWWW!!!!"
